Case History

Sassy Is Hit by a Car

Yesterday, I brought Sassy home from the animal hospital. Considering that she was recently hit by a car, her condition is not too bad. The vet thinks there may be some permanent damage to her right eye. I don’t know whether the eye can completely recover, but I’ve already seen that Sassy reacts excellently to Ear TTouches and very light Raccoon TTouches.

Uses

For sensitive cats

For senior cats

Deals with resistance

Relieves fear

Helps illness

Sassy is actually quite shy about contact, however. If I hold her on my lap, relax her with Ear TTouches and comfort her whole body with Abalone and Python TTouches, she purrs happily. I am firmly convinced that the TTouch saved Sassy’s life. Had I not known about it, I wouldn’t have been able to help her. There were also positive changes in her behavior. Sassy had always been a shy cat—but today, I can pick her up and hold her without a problem. These days too, she gets along beautifully with the other animals in my home. Sassy and my Boxer, Ariel, often lie on the bed snuggled close together. I think this is the result of my having done the TTouch on both animals during a single session, with Sassy on my lap and Ariel sitting on the floor at my feet. Ginny Hawke

I am stabilizing this quite unsure cat with my left hand on his chest, while using my right hand to apply gentle TTouches on his sensitive hindquarters.
